# HOW DO I SETUP MY EBIZAUTOS MAIL TO MY EMAIL CLIENT?

This article provides the necessary configuration details to connect your eBizAutos Mail account to third-party email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail, or mobile devices.

For users who prefer not to use a local application, you may access your email via any web browser by visiting the web client at **[https://mail.ebizautos.com/](https://mail.ebizautos.com/)**.

#### **Server Information**

To ensure a secure connection, all configurations must use the central mail server address and SSL/TLS encryption.

| **Setting** | **Configuration Value** |
| --- | --- |
| **Mail Server Address** | mail.ebizautos.com |
| **Username** | Your full email address (e.g., name@dealership.com) |
| **Password** | Your eBizAutos Mail password |

#### **Incoming Mail Setup (Secure)** eBizAutos Mail requires secure connections to protect dealership data. We strongly recommend **IMAP** for users who access email on multiple devices, as it synchronizes your folders and messages across all platforms.

### **IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol)**

- **Server:** mail.ebizautos.com
- **Port:** 993
- **Encryption Method:** SSL/TLS

### **POP3 (Post Office Protocol)**

- **Server:** mail.ebizautos.com
- **Port:** 995
- **Encryption Method:** SSL/TLS

#### **Outgoing Mail Setup (SMTP)** To send emails through your dealership account, use the following Simple Mail Transfer Protocol settings.

- **Server:** mail.ebizautos.com
- **Port:** 465
- **Encryption Method:** SSL/TLS
- **Authentication:** Required (Use the same username and password as your incoming mail)

#### **Essential Configuration Notes**

- **Webmail Access:** If you are away from your primary workstation, you can manage your inbox, calendar, and contacts at **[https://mail.ebizautos.com/](https://mail.ebizautos.com/)**.
- **Authentication:** Most email clients have a checkbox labeled "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication." This must be checked for the mail to be sent successfully.
- **Username Format:** Always use your complete email address as the username. Entering only the name portion will result in a login failure.
